About Dialogues - Performance and Sound

The Dialogue performances follow on several concepts - a dialogue that comes to nothing and failed - a dialogue without content, ramblings without substanc - a dialogue with space and objects around me,-

But also overall  the voices and sounds I've been hearing in my head almost constantly for many years. Caused by medical and mental issues. It's a simple attempt of a field trip into my head and to approach sound and noise from another level and place. Which leads finally to the unability to connect with the social environment around me

The planning was to perform the very first performance "Dialogue" (see Soro-sorO #1). However when  sawing the building for the first time in the morning the idea and concept changed completely for the planed performance in the afternoon. Because it would be very difficult to present in this building, but at the same time the new oppertunties the space offert Finally the decision was to go into a dialogue with the building were creating sound and noise on the spot would play a very important role.

2nd Performance "Dialogue", SULUV Gallery, Novi Sad

The second performance was performed at the SULUV Gallery,(Union of Associations of Fine Artists of Vojvodina) Novi Sad, Serbia. The concept of my second performance was based on the concept of a dialogue that comes to nothing and failed The performance was accompanied by alienated sound elements and fragments of dialogues.

On 12th of March I performed DIALOGUE the first solo and live performance about the subject dialogue's It was also the first live performance were for the first time integrated own composed sound and noise. The performance should actually consist of a live performance with audiovisual elements. But since some of the technical equipment didn't work well, I improvised in the end and only took over the sound element. In hindsight it must to say that it was a good solution not to use the visual elements because they would have been more disruptive and distracting to the live performance. The performance was created out of improvisation and spontaneity. I had the theme and the keywords, the sound, but I hadn't done any rehearsal for the live part. It was more of an experiment of creating on the spot.
